Here’s a Challenge:
Find a map of the United States and draw a circle at a scale representing a 100 mile radius. Keep drawing circles all over the map until you find one that contains the following:
- 15 locations administered by the National Park Service, including 2 of the nation’s top 10 most visited National Parks
- 3 National Forests
- 8 very popular State Parks
- 2 National Conservation Areas
- A world-class collection of 1000 year old petroglyphs
If that sounds difficult, perhaps this will make it a little easier: place the center of your circle over Springdale, Utah.
Incredible, isn’t it? No place on Earth offers more scenic wonders within a 100 mile radius. Simply put, Springdale isn’t just the hub of Zion National Park — it’s the center of the largest collection of scenic wonders in the world.
So what does that mean for you and your family? It means that on your next vacation to Springdale / Zion, you can pack your days full of adventure, your photo collection full of stunning images, and your brain full of life-long memories. With all that “packing” to do, isn’t it nice to know that you only have to unpack once?
Make Springdale the center of your vacation and you’ll only have to unpack your bags one time. It will make all that trouble with the map and the circles seem well worth the effort!
