We guarantee that if you set aside one single day and follow this simple itinerary, you WILL NOT regret it.

Itinerary Item #1: Breakfast at River Rock Roasting in La Verkin, UT

On your way to Springdale, you’ll drive through the charming little town of La Verkin that is home to a Southern Utah treasure: River Rock Roasting Company.
Often dubbed the best coffee in Southern Utah, this local stop offers a variety of fresh roasted coffee, espresso drinks, and fresh baked goods. Located at 394 S. State St. with gorgeous river and canyon views, it’s virtually impossible for these folks to disappoint. Check out the short video below to get your mouth excited. Don’t forget to visit their website, http://riverrockroasters.com/.

Itinerary Item #2: Stop in at the Visitor Center for a unique souvenir

Located at 1101 Zion-Mount Carmel Hwy, this brand new state-of-the-art visitors center had it’s grand opening earlier this year. Come in from the heat and cool down while you peruse and acquire exclusive, original items from the gift shop as well as gather any and all information there is to be had about the city of Springdale and Zion National Park. We know you’ll be impressed by this brand new structure, inside and out.

Itinerary Item #3: Ride the shuttle into the Park and hike Emerald Pools

From the Visitor Center, take advantage of our luxurious shuttle system and let us drive you in comfort directly into the Park and drop you off at the starting point of the Emerald Pools trail. One of Zion’s most popular and leisurely hikes, Emerald Pools is ideal for a daytrip to Zion, amounting to a distance of roughly 2 miles. Though the hike is largely unchallenging for most, it is anything but dull – quite the contrary, actually. This classic Zion location comprises a set of short routes that wind through a richly vegetated stream that pours down from a cliff creating many enchanting pools. It’s safe to assume that this will be a place that you’ll return to on future trips to Zion because, well, it’s incredible! Here’s a brief video from a fellow hiker and some other photos showing what you can look forward to when you get here. Warning: spoiler alert!

Itinerary Item #4: On your way out of the park, stop by Zion Canyon Brew Pub for lunch

Considered by many as the best bar in Springdale, they boast an incredibly inviting atmosphere with a tap selection that includes flagship beers as well as seasonal favorites. They offer a wide variety of tasty, traditional pub grub as well as post-hike salads, Steak Frites, and Fish ‘n’ Chips, to name just a few patron favorites.
