Tuachan
This outdoor amphitheater is really like nothing else you can ever experience. If the setting and location weren’t enough the quality of the Broadway-caliber shows will leave you planning a return visit before you even leave. In conjunction with Disney, the team at Tuachan has put together productions like Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, When You Wish, Tarzan, Aladdin, Tangled, the Little Mermaid, Newsies, and Hercules just to name a few. Along with the Broadway style shows the venue also plays host to nationally syndicated musicians touring the country.
Snow Canyon & Red Cliffs Recreation Area
Located to the northwest of St. George lies one of Utah’s best state parks Snow Canyon. Contrary to the name the park rarely sees any snow and is actually a beautiful multicolored sandstone canyon that rivals some of Zion National Park’s beauty. Easy and convenient access makes this a great addition to an upcoming visit to the area. Heading northeast out of St George on I-15 is the Red Cliffs Recreation Area. While not a state park this area is protected and managed by the BLM and Forest Service. Set against the towering backdrop of Pine Valley Mountain this outcropping of vibrant red sandstone is home to one of the areas most beautiful slot canyon areas.
